    Product Description

    D-Day Airborne Experience

    Introduction
The D-Day Airborne Experience is a unique 3 ½ day event that culminates in you parachuting into a D-Day DZ in Normandy from a historic C-47 Dakota. But that is only part of the experience!

    Itinerary
We will take you through a parachute training programme to equip you to complete 3 static-line jumps. Once you have completed the training, you will complete the first of these jumps with the Parachute School before moving into our tactical training camp and commencing preparations for the D-Day part of the experience. Your next two jumps will be made from a C-47 Dakota (an iconic aircraft closely associated with D-Day). The first of these will require you to follow in the footsteps of WWII Paratroopers. You will receive your orders for your D-Day mission, load onto the C-47, fly to France and drop onto a DZ in Normandy that was used by US Airborne forces on Operation Overlord. Your ‘day of days’ will be conducted as a re-enactment, you will be dressed as an Airborne Infantryman of the famous 506th Regiment of the 101st US Airborne Division, visit many of the key battlefields in historic vehicles from the time, conduct live firing of historic weapons (under expert supervision) and celebrate at the end of this special day at a Chateau in true French style. On the morning of the final day, you will emplane onto our C-47 again and fly back across the Channel for one last parachute jump into the airfield where your adventure began.

This experience requires a brave heart and a true sense of adventure. You will need to be declared medically fit to meet the British Parachute Association (BPA) requirements and sleep under canvas as part of the ‘D-Day work-up’ re-enactment. The question is, are you ready for action in a foreign land?
